Properties and fields of application of Cosmetic Lavitol

Dihydroquercetin has a wide range of pharmacological properties: antioxidant, capillaryprotective, anti-inflammatory, detoxification, radioprotective activity. All these activities support the use of Dihydroquercetin in the cosmetic industry.

Dihydroquercetin is a powerful antioxidant of a plant origin that can protect cells from the harmful effects caused by the excessive free radicals.

Dihydroquercetin reduces oxidative injury in human skin fibroblasts induced by glutathione depletion.

Dihydroquercetin inhibits the oxidation process in cosmetic products rich in oxidation-prone unsaturated fatty acids.

Cosmetic Lavitol® has the keratolytic effect. Moreover, Cosmetic Lavitol promotes cells renewal of epidermis, activates the regeneration process, has the pronounced moisture-retaining effect, enhances fibroplastic reaction that is testified to positive influence of Cosmetic Lavitol on water-electrolyte and protein metabolism in the skin and stimulating action on glycosaminoglycans synthesis responsible for moisture-retaining effect.

Cosmetic Lavitol® has the pronounced capillary-protective action, expressed in vascularization, strengthening of blood flow and improvement of skin nutrition. Cosmetic Lavitol decreases significantly the number of lymphahistiocytic elements, indicated the presence of immunomodulating effect which became apparent in regulation of local tissue immunity.

Ametis JSC produces the effective cosmetic substance under the trade mark Cosmetic Lavitol® with Dihydroquercetin (taxifolin) content over 88%.

Cosmetic Lavitol® is being produced by Ametis JSC in accordance with the Technical Requirements TY 9154-005-48375962-05.

Cosmetic Lavitol® is regularly analyzed in the accredited analytical laboratory of the enterprise (Certificate No POCC RU.0001.517430), as well as in the accredited testing analytical laboratory center based on the Public Health Federal State Establishment “Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in Amur Region” and periodically analyzed by the Certification Center of Parfumery-Cosmetic Product & Services – Cosmetic Test (Moscow, Russia).
