Ametis JSC was founded on June 25, 1998 in Blagoveshchensk, Amur region. Despite the fact that Ametis JSC is relatively young company, but has already become the largest industrial complex in production of larch extracts and showed itself as a stable, with a reputation of quality and competitive prices.

All activities of the company are submitted to one aim: to create the high-tech manufacturing enterprise by complex processing of Dahurian Larch wood for the purpose of unique natural substances extraction.

The company doesn’t rest on its laurels and develops successfully in the domestic and international markets, improving technology of production, introducing know-how to produce natural, highly effective, quality products. Effect of Laviocard +

As a complex therapy of cardiovascular diseases:

Raw Lavitol and by-products

Raw Lavitol

Raw Lavitol is the substance that is represented by mix of flavonoids (Dihydroquercetin and other relative flavonoids) and has the antioxidative properties. The content of Dihydroquercetin (taxifolin) ranges from 70% to 88%. Ametis JSC produces Raw Lavitol on the grounds of Technical Requirements TY 2455−001−48375962−03. Raw Lavitol could be used as the main compound of plant growth stimulants.

Moreover the purification of Raw Lavitol allows getting Dihydroquercetin with higher purity.

Larch oil Lavitol

Larch oil Lavitol is a by-product derived from Dahurian Larch (Larix gmelinii, Larix dahurica) by a combined processing method.

The chemical composition of the Larch oil is complex and various. It consists of the blend of terpene hydrocarbons, resin acids, phytosterols, tocopherols, diterpene and fatty acids, dihydroquercetin.

Organoleptic characteristics:

  • Appearance: Viscous oily fluid
  • Color: from golden yellow to light brown
  • Odor: wooden

Basic properties

Larch oil has high antiviral and biological activity; shows wound healing, antimicrobic and anti-burning effect. Besides, larch oil “Lavitol” is an effective antioxidant because of containing up to 20 % of dihydroquercetin.

Larch oil is perfectly combined with vegetable oils, vitamins, plant extracts and auxiliary components.

Larch resin Lavitol

Larch resin Lavitol is a by-product derived from Dahurian Larch (Larix gmelinii, Larix dahurica) by a combined processing method.

Physico-chemical characteristics

Larch resin Lavitol consists of hydrocarbons, carbonyl compounds, Primary diterpene-alcohol, microelements, phenocarboxylic and fatty acids, as well as dihydroquercetin.

  • Color: light brown to dark brown
  • Odor: strongly pronounced wood odor
  • Solubility: soluble in alcohol medium, ether, different kinds of solvents and in some oils, insoluble in water.

Fields of application

Due to the unique chemical composition larch resin has antioxidant, antiseptic, capillary-protective, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, wound healing properties, it is successfully used in cosmetic and medical industries. Larch resin has the strong effect on the healing of posttraumatic wounds and burns, soft tissue bruise as well as on uninflammed trophic wounds. Larch resin is recommended as the basic compound of hot compresses and ointments intended for prevention of upper airways and joint diseases.

Larch resin is also used in production of cosmetic products: regenerating creams, SPF lotions and creams, moisurisers, lip cosmetics, etc. The studies, conducted on various emulsions with larch resin Lavitol, confirmed the possibility of introduction the larch resin in the production of cosmetic products in a concentration up to 0.2% by weight of raw materials.

Properties and fields of application of Cosmetic Lavitol

Dihydroquercetin has a wide range of pharmacological properties: antioxidant, capillaryprotective, anti-inflammatory, detoxification, radioprotective activity. All these activities support the use of Dihydroquercetin in the cosmetic industry.

Dihydroquercetin is a powerful antioxidant of a plant origin that can protect cells from the harmful effects caused by the excessive free radicals.

Dihydroquercetin reduces oxidative injury in human skin fibroblasts induced by glutathione depletion.

Dihydroquercetin inhibits the oxidation process in cosmetic products rich in oxidation-prone unsaturated fatty acids.

Cosmetic Lavitol® has the keratolytic effect. Moreover, Cosmetic Lavitol promotes cells renewal of epidermis, activates the regeneration process, has the pronounced moisture-retaining effect, enhances fibroplastic reaction that is testified to positive influence of Cosmetic Lavitol on water-electrolyte and protein metabolism in the skin and stimulating action on glycosaminoglycans synthesis responsible for moisture-retaining effect.

Cosmetic Lavitol® has the pronounced capillary-protective action, expressed in vascularization, strengthening of blood flow and improvement of skin nutrition. Cosmetic Lavitol decreases significantly the number of lymphahistiocytic elements, indicated the presence of immunomodulating effect which became apparent in regulation of local tissue immunity.


Ametis JSC produces the effective cosmetic substance under the trade mark Cosmetic Lavitol® with Dihydroquercetin (taxifolin) content over 88%.

Cosmetic Lavitol® is being produced by Ametis JSC in accordance with the Technical Requirements TY 9154-005-48375962-05.

Cosmetic Lavitol® is regularly analyzed in the accredited analytical laboratory of the enterprise (Certificate No POCC RU.0001.517430), as well as in the accredited testing analytical laboratory center based on the Public Health Federal State Establishment “Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in Amur Region” and periodically analyzed by the Certification Center of Parfumery-Cosmetic Product & Services – Cosmetic Test (Moscow, Russia).

Lavitol (Dihydroquercetin)

Ametis JSC produces Lavitol (Dihydroquercetin) from the stumps of Dahurian Larch (Gmelinii Larch) that are grown in ecologically clean areas of the Amur Region. The use of ethyl alcohol as an extracting agent allows to receive a high quality product, used in food and nutritional industries.

The use of hi-tech equipments and its own patented technology for of the extraction allows to produce dihydroquercetin with 70 – 99.5% purity in industrial volumes. The monthly production volume of 99% Dihydroquercetin is 500 kg.

Lavitol (Dihydroquercetin) is the active antioxidant. Ametis JSC entrusted two independent laboratories with testing the antioxidative activity of Lavitol (Dihydroquercetin). The method of the Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity of the dissolved in water product (ORAChydro) was used in the testing. The test results showed that Lavitol (Dihydroquercetin) has very high ORAC value, which exceeds that of some known antioxidants.

Dihydroquercetin acting as a substance with high level of biological activity, has positive effects on the metabolic reactions and the dynamics of various pathological processes and can be widely used in various industries.

Application of Dihydroquercetin

By the end of December 2013, over 300 products with dihydroquercetin were registered with the regulatory organs of the Russian Federation. Among these products, more than 200 were bioactive food supplements, over 40 food products, and approximately 80 cosmetic products.

The application of Dihydroquercetin is regulated by the following normative documentations in the Russian Federation:

  • The Methodical recommendations of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Regulation No “Recommended norm of consumption of food and biologically active supplements” has determined the appropriate and the highest allowable level of Dihydroquercetin consumption: 25–100 mg per day.
  • According to the Decision of the State Chief Medical Officer dated 11/14/2001 No 36 “About the application of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Conclusion (SEC)”, Dihydroquercetin is classified as an antioxidant;
  • The Decision of the State Chief Medical Officer dated 04/18/2003 No 59 “About the application of SEC” allows using Dihydroquercetin for in manufacturing of cream, chocolate, and dry milk. The maximal content of Dihydroquercetin in these products is 200 mg/kg fat of the product;
  • The Technical Regulations of the customs Union 029/2012 allows using Dihydroquercetin as an antioxidant for manufacturing cream, dry milk, processed cheese, chocolate. The content of Dihydroquercetin in these products is 200 mg/kg fat of the product.
